The Event Dashboard is designed to simplify event management by consolidating essential information and tools into one customizable page. Whether you need to monitor recent uploads, track user activity, or check the speaker queue, the dashboard keeps everything accessible and easy to manage.
Customizing Your Dashboard
The event dashboard features a variety of widgets with essential information and tools. You can choose which widgets to display or hide, ensuring your dashboard focused on your priorities.
Hiding and re-adding Widgets
To hide a widget:
- Click the “Hide Widget” button at the top-right corner of the widget box
To show a Widget that has been hidden:
- Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the “Add Widgets” menu. This menu lists all available widgets not currently displayed on your dashboard.
- Click the name of the Widget you want to show again. If the list is empty, all widgets are either already active or unavailable based on your permissions.
Available Dashboard Widgets
The Slidecrew Event Dashboard is your hub for managing event information, keeping track of activities, and monitoring progress. We have designed it to be flexible and user-friendly, allowing you to tailor its display to suit your specific needs.
Account Information
Shows the basic details for the Slidecrew account you are logged in with, including your profile and settings. If you would like to edit your account information, click the button int he top right of the widget.
ePosters
A “scoreboard” for the posters with the best ratings (if enabled) and the most view time. For the full ePoster management page, check the “ePosters” tab on the “Programme” page.
Event Days
Lists the event dates for quick reference. Click on a day to go to the overview for that event day on the Programme page.
Event Information
Displays basic details about your event, including the event name and key dates. These details come from the information that was filled out in the event creation process, including optional fields, such as event location or the description. You can always go back and fill out the optiona fields under the Event Information tab.
Event Plan
Similar to the event information widget, except that this one only shows the information relevant to the event plan you have paid for, such as how many conference rooms and event days were purchased.
Event User Activity
Shows the latest entries in the user activity log for your event, such as file uploads, edits, or changes to presentations. For the full version, click the “All Activity” button in the widget.
Presentation Progress
A simple pair of progress bars, one for presentations and another for ePosters (if added to your event), showing what percentage of the slots where files are expected have actually received them.
Programme Errors
Highlights any issues in the event schedule, such as overlapping sessions or conflicting speaker assignments. For more details, visit the “Programme Errors” section under the Core menu or click one of the three sections, “Sessions”, “Files and Media” or “Users” in the widget.
Queue
Displays the current queue for the Speaker Ready Room system, including which speakers are currently working at each station or are waiting to be allocated to one.Click the clock icon to go to the full Queue management page in the event portal.
Recent Uploads
Shows the 5 most recent presentation files to be uploaded to the portal.
Statistics
Provides an overview of key metrics for your event, such as the number of sessions, presentations, and uploaded files.You can export this information as a spreadsheet in the “Exports” tab of the “event” menu in your portal.
Tools
Currently, this only includes the download link for both the Windows and Mac versions of the Slidecrew Software Manager.

Upcoming Sessions
Displays a list of the next five upcoming sessions on the event schedule. If more than five are happening simultaneously, they will show in alphabetical order.
Upload Statistics
Provides an overview of file uploads for your event, with graphs showing the differences in uploads from the various methods between the days during and leading up to your event. You can filter out specific days or upload types (e.g. from the portal, the Apps or the Speaker Upload Page) by clicking on that item.
